Яevolution Resourcing is a resource group hosted by FringeFX.net. ЯR is a group of active GFXers who love to provide resources for the entire GFX community, with no special benefit to themselves. This selfless sharing attitude has gained ЯR a great reputation, and as we continue to grow and provide more and more resources, this notion will be nothing but solidified.
Expect ЯR to hit every graphics site we can possibly find, as we want nothing more then to spread countless, high quality resources around the internet! If you own a graphics related site, see the according thread in this forum to request ЯR resources at your site, if we have not already found you!
Please note, that ЯR is completely different from the FringeFX Resource Crew. ЯR is not a staff team, it is a group of people who are members on other GFX sites across the internet and share resources with these sites. The FFX Resource Crew, on the other hand, organizes and maintains the resource section here at the Fringe.
ЯR was founded and is currently run by Seraph and Auth3nticK, hosted by Dynamik and Lax on the FringeFX forums.
Why don't you just turn this into a Stock Club? Stock artists love clubs, if they're done correctly. And instead of posting the packs, ask stock artists to make submissions. That's pretty much how it's done around here. It'll protect your backside, honestly.
Yes, I added you to my watch becuase you're worth watching, lest you disrespect other stock providers here without credit; therefore, I will never use what you have to offer because I would rather give the "original provider" credit, not you. They're the ones who do all the hard work and deserve the credit, not someone who takes, provides, and does not give the original credit, while expecting credit for yourself. No way buddy. Keep it in mind. Stockers are watching you now. O.o
im sorry man. we really are not out to take credit. Our main goal is to take resources everywhere. I do not make all these packs personally so i do not know how they get it. I am sorry man. I am not trying to get on someones bad side. I am adding credit right now.
That's cool, and I really appreciate you being honest with me. Just get your ducks in order and explain to them the deal and how it works and I truly believe, if the RR thing you wanna do here is what your goal is, everything will work out only if you do it the right way. The "collectors" need to be informed that "permission" is a must. Otherwise it's a no-go and there's gonna be trouble, believe me. So, see where they go the stuff they currently got (you have uploaded), see if they can retrace links to ask for permission. If not, pull'em or make an absolute note under the submission, if someone recognizes he stock, please inform you guys so original credit can be given. After that, make sure they ALWAYS record where they get stuff, but ask permission first, because if they don't and you post, your ass is gonna be on the line. That's just how it is here.
We, here at DA, simply want right for right... we are a family, and have respect for each other; therefore, we look out for each other. Normally I do not come off as a bitch, but I've had stuff stolen before and I have decided to do something about other stock taken if I can, especially when it comes to stock-providers I consider friends and hold dear. I'm about principle and respect and I think most ppl here on DA would agree they are too, because creative arts are a reflections of our soul and those who provide resources are food for that soul and deserve to be given credit as well. I just want you to understand. So, get your ducks in order and get your site legit.
Um, you can do this, but taking from another's stock collection and using it was your own is a major NO NO unless you ask their permission first or READ THEIR STOCK RULES. I'm serious.
I have nothing here of mine, but if I ever find stuff, I will want it removed because I never gave you permission. Did you ask other DA stock resources their permission to host thir stock here?
If you continue to do this and think it's legit, you NEED to make sure those using the stock give credit to the original provider. Does that make sense to you?
It would be pathetic if you took from other stock providers here on DA (or other sites for that matter), hosted here and took all the credit for it. I just want to make sure you are going by the rules, because we look out for each other here on DA, so watch it buddy.
1st ASK them if you can provide/showcase their stock on your site.Don't just do it without their permission, because every provider has different rules and you have to respect those rules; some things are copyrighted, i.e. so there's legalities to deal with if you screw-up. 2nd ALWAYS make sure you give an original link back to the original provider. This is a must, because they do all the hard work to provide stock to begin with; it's just the principle of the matter.
If you want to check out someone who is TOP FORM in doing this, check out Resurgere
He provides the best of the best in themes and always links back to the original provider, while giving the viewer a little info about the original provider. All is happy. I hope this helps.
